Today marks the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, a welcome sign that autumn is coming. Unfortunately there is no modification that can make it vegan. But there are other drinks to get you in the fall mood that can be modified if you desire.

  • Salted Caramel Mocha- chocolate mocha sauce, espresso, toffee nut syrup, seal salt topping, milk, caramel drizzle. Make it vegan: No whipped cream. Use soy, coconut, or almond milk. Skip caramel drizzle, opt for 2 pumps caramel flavored syrup stirred in.
  • Hazelnut Hot Chocolate- milk, mocha sauce, vanilla syrup, hazelnut syrup, whipped cream, mocha drizzle. Make it vegan: No whipped cream. Use almond milk. 
  • Butterbeer Latte- espresso, milk, caramel syrup, toffee nut syrup, cinnamon dolce syrup, sea salt topping. Make it vegan: Use soy milk.

So crank up the A/C, turn on the fireplace, and sip on your autumnal beverage while you online shop for boots and off the shoulder sweaters.
