A Comet That’s Older Than Jesus Is About To Fly Over Idaho
Okay, hear me out but the fact of the matter is... there really is a comet that's going to fly over the great state of Idaho and it really is older than Jesus Christ. According to a member of the Erskine Theological Seminary, Jesus Christ lived to be about 33 years old which would place Jesus at about 2056 years old today.
So, how old is this comet?
According to NASA, the comet known as C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is around 50,000 years old and should be visible to Idahoans towards the end of January.
But don't worry, it's a comet and won't get anywhere near Earth and will be nothing like the movie Armageddon. According to NASA, the difference between a comet and an asteroid is simple - a comet is made up of ice and dust while an asteroid is made up of rocky material.
Where is the best place to see the comet over Idaho?
According to AOL.com, Camel's Back Park is a great spot as there is less light pollution. Speaking of light pollution, there is a great map tool that you can use if you're not in the Boise area to find a convenient spot to watch the comet fly over later this month.
AOL.com also says that Bogus Basin would be another great spot to catch the comet but you'll really need to keep a pulse on when the comet will be making its way across the Treasure Valley skies. It sure is a good spot though, especially at around 5,800 feet.
