Caldwell Man Hangs Nazi Flags to Protest HOA

I don't always agree with my HOA, but this is taking things to an extreme. A man in Caldwell is so upset that his HOA says he can't park his garbage cans in his driveway that he is hanging Nazi flags in protest. 

According to an article on idahonews.com, CBH Homes is acting as the HOA for Pennsylvania Park homes until the subdivision is complete.

Steve Smith is the man hanging the Nazi flags. His neighbor, Andrew Pratt,  told Channel 2...

“Came home one day and had the wrap around the van with the don’t buy CBH home, Nazi flag. I don’t know like a shout-out, trying to get someone’s attention or embarrass someone. Not necessarily the way you want to do it, but it does seem like he was trying to get someone’s attention.”

In addition to the trash can dispute, Smith claims CBH Homes let his trees die and they haven't made necessary repairs to his home.

What are your thoughts on this? I don't agree with it at all, but I have experienced frustration with my HOA. In my old neighborhood, I could make sense of how much we paid them because of the community pool and exercise room, but here I don't even know what my HOA does! I obviously need to educate myself. One thing I do know is this level of hate seems completely unnecessary. Hopefully, those involved get it resolved.
