Boise State Connects Students Through Career Fairs
After all of those late nights and long essays as a student, it's great if that hard work turns into a job. Is any school better at connecting students with employers than Boise State? Students have the chance to check out several job fairs this fall to network and meet hiring managers, and we've got the details.
When I was going to school at the University of Nebraska, I don't remember ever having the chance to attend a career fair and meet the employers that could help me land my first job. Maybe I missed the memos. But watching Boise State crank out the networking opportunities for students is pretty cool, and has to make students pretty confident that hard work and dedication to the degree process will pay off.
Earlier this fall, Boise State held a job fair for the Construction Management field. The College of Engineering will hold a job fair on November 2. And the Career and Graduate Fair is coming up next week, on October 18, and that will be a university-wide job fair with the chance to meet graduate program representatives too.
The Career and Graduate Fair will be Wednesday, October 18th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm in the Jordan Ballroom, Student Union Building.
Employers can still register to be part of the career fair, and students can gain some helpful tips on what to expect and how to prepare by going to the Career Center page on the BSU website.
The next campus-wide career fair will happen during the spring semester, on February 28, 2018. Good luck!
