BFF For Better Or Worse

My BFF, Ysabel Bilbao, and I have been through it all together! Heartbreak, job changes, weight gain,heartbreak, weight loss, baby showers, weddings, heartbreak, illness, vacations, heartbreaks, holidays, family drama, heartbreak, and so much more!

We truly could give Carrie Bradshaw and her friends a run for their money. If they need an idea for Sex and the City 3, we have a few nights that are episode worthy! The funny thing about Ysabel and me is that we could not be more different. She is a city girl, I am anything but. She loves the sound of a traffic on the streets below her apartment to wake her up in the morning. I want the sound of a river rippling through the mountains to wake me up. And that is just the tip of the ice burg on our differences.

Organized Closet

Ysabel's entire life fits into 6 totes. I have a  2 bedroom home and to her that makes me a hoarder. She rents a room from a friend of ours and could jet off to Paris at any moment because her 6 totes are already packed. I would need to make arrangements for Gunner and take a day or two to pack. I have 795 square feet that my life fits into. My house was built in 1918 and has no closet space, no pantry, 6 cupboards and a detached garage that 1/3 of is occupied by my brother's stuff. Since I don't have a lot of storage space in my little Skid Row bungalow it looks like it is spilling out at every seam and to Ysabel this makes me a hoarder. And that makes me laugh. I love to have her over and watch her squirm just itching to dive into my closet and start chucking out clothes that she would never borrow. She starts to hyperventilate. It's comical. I have Carrie Bradshaw's closet, just not her fashion style and Ysabel has Charlotte York's organizational style and just not the NY City Penthouse!  I couldn't imagine maneuvering my way through this thing called life without my BFF even though she wants to take over my house with space bags and totes and alphabetize my pantry!
