In our society, the average person will spend about one third of their lives at work.

It’s roughly 90,000 hours, or 25-30 years, spent working.

Needless to say, that is an extremely impactful amount of time.

We cannot even begin to fathom the extent to which our jobs affect our mental health and our overall well being.

The happiness and fulfillment we feel at work bleeds into every other facet of our lives, so it goes without saying that finding a place where you feel content and financially stable is of the utmost importance.

Luckily for you, we have a list of the best places to work in Idaho.

This list is determined by a confidential employee survey, which speaks volumes about these companies as well. Because it’s not simply the higher ups boldly stating that their place is the best – it’s based on the honest opinions of those who actually work for them

There are five separate categories, based on how many employees each company has, in order to be fair:

  • Macro Employers (250+ employees)
  • Large Employers (100-249 employees)
  • Medium Employers (50-99 employees)
  • Small Employers (20-49 employees)
  • Micro Employers (10-19 employees)

Obviously a smaller business with 10 employees shouldn’t be compared to one who has over 1,000.

But listed below are the Top 10 Macro Employers (250+ employees) in 2021. Basically, the extra large companies who were voted as the absolute best places to work in Idaho.

We also included a link to the smaller businesses at the end of the article, if you’d like to peruse all of the other finalists/categories.
