Any Suggestions For a Quick Reno and Tahoe Trip?

It seems like everyone is making plans to have some fun this upcoming Memorial Day Weekend. I am no different as I am excited to visit the Reno and Lake Tahoe area for the first time ever. Visiting new places is something I always enjoy so obviously I am looking forward to it but I'm wondering if there is anything I should definitely do while I'm there.

The first thing I hear from everyone is that Lake Tahoe is beautiful and we will obviously take some time to just relax and enjoy the beautiful views. We also have one night planned staying at a casino upon arrival in Reno. It will be nice to get some of the party atmosphere and spend some time just relaxing.

Now back to the original question. With this being my first trip is there anything specific that I should do while I am there for the quick trip? I'm sure we will stop by the iconic Reno sign and snap a photo (because that has to go on social media). But are there any restaurants or really cool things that you like to do in the Reno and Lake Tahoe area?
