We've been hearing the rumors of an Amazon distribution center popping up in Nampa for quite some time now, but now the rumors are confirmed!!

The fulfillment center will be located at Franklin and Star Roads and has previously been referred to as "Project Bronco."

No word yet on when the warehouse will be open other than we know it will be sometime in 2020.

The really cool deal about Amazon coming to Nampa is that it will create 1000 full-time jobs that will pay at least $15 an hour and have a comprehensive benefits package including full medical, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) with a 50% match.

On the glass-half-empty side of things, increased traffic is a concern. According to an article on KTVB that has all the details on the new warehouse moving into town, the Amazon fulfillment center will add about 7,000 vehicle trips and 350 truck trips per day.
