This is a quick alert because sometimes getting masks aren't that easy for everyone. COVID-19 has done more than just impact our health. This pandemic is crushing our jobs and every penny counts right now.

Boise made news a few weeks ago when it became mandatory to wear masks as we celebrated the 4th of July. That's really not shocking considering most places I visit there is a sign in front that is simply said, "You must wear a mask to enter, thanks for being safe." I was writing this article and Best Buy just announced it will be requirements to enter their stores nationwide. It's coming Idaho.

The Ada County Emergency Management & Community Resilience just posted up on Facebook about a free mask opportunity at Expo Idaho Tuesday, July 14, 2020. The Free Facial Covering/Mask Drive-Through Distribution will take place from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and happen in the parking lot at Expo Idaho.

They will be giving out packages of five masks to families that show up. Make accommodations for disability or transportation issues by calling (208) 577-4750.

It's nice to get masks for free especially when most places are making it mandatory. Be sure to enter at the livestock entrance by Boise Hawks Stadium.
