I'll admit it, I was someone who was a little late to the A Star is Born fandom. I didn't watch it until after Oscar Sunday.

You're judging me, aren't you? Let me explain.  I married an overgrown child who lived for comic books when he was younger.  A Star is Born was released in theaters for the first time on October 5, 2018 and with an impressive opening weekend of $41,250,000 it wasn't the number one movie in the country. You know what was? The other movie that came out that weekend, Venom. A (sort of) super villain movie based off of Marvel comics. You do the math on which movie we made our date night that weekend.

I finally watched it last week and now I understand why some of you went through an entire box of tissues during the tragic love story. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's Oscar performance gave you about as much closure as it possibly could. It was Ally and Jack back together one more time. I totally understand the hype now...

...and I feel like we got ripped off when the re-release that includes 12 minutes of previously unseen music wasn't coming to the Treasure Valley after they announced it last week. If you were let down too, I have good news! It's coming...just a week later than we originally thought!

The Star is Born Encore with the bonus scenes is playing at the Edwards Boise Stadium 21 on Overland at least through next Thursday!
