There are less than two weeks left before Christmas. 12 days to sneak in as much holiday fun as humanly possible before we tear into our gifts. If you're anything like me, you've lost track of time completely and can't actually believe there is so little time left to create 2020 holiday memories. Here are some things to fit into your crazy Christmas schedule.

Ice skating at The Village at Meridian. Talk about the most convenient spot ever. The rink is smack dab in the middle of tons of shops to purchase those last minute gifts. Hit a couple stores, break for some skate time, then hit a few more. Perfect way to break up an otherwise tedious day of shopping. Reservation based skating only, but there are plenty of slots available. Click here to book your skating appointment.

Enjoy the Scentsy Commons Christmas Lights! This is a fun, family friendly, FREE event that runs through January 17th, 2021. Over 450 trees have been wrapped in dazzling lights in addition to the light tunnel that's back by popular demand. No reservations required for this one. Just show up and live your best Christmas life.

A drive through Christmas in Color. This has been perhaps my favorite holiday event of the season. First, you stay in the comfort of your car the whole time (went in my pajamas). Second, it's the marriage of Christmas lights and holiday music. The coordinated light display is visually stunning and will have you singing with the lit up characters as you drive along the festive path. 10/10 recommend. Click here to purchase tickets and reserve your time.

Tubing at Eagle Island. Not everyone is a skier or snowboarder. I'm everyone. But the thrill of speeding down a snow hill shouldn't elude myself and others like me. Where there's a Gateway Park there's a way. They've created their very own snow hill for kids and families to tube it up. But you can also ski and snowboard if you want.

Stroll through the Winter Garden aGlow at Idaho Botanical Gardens. This is reservation only, but they still have spots available. Click here to secure yours. Not only is the Garden sparkling perfection, vendors are there to complete your visit with hot beverages and snacks! Everything is better with snacks. You can also send Santa a postcard and enjoy their holiday express model train display.

So if you're bored or your kids say they're bored, you've got a few options to remedy that. My family is taking a shot at ice skating this weekend while I finish up some shopping. Full disclosure, I've only ever ice skated once...20 years ago. I'm a little nervous to join them. Wish me luck!
