It's hard to believe that we are less than 100 days away from Christmas. It feels like the year just started but as we are seeing with the weather outside the seasons are changing and fall is almost here. Soon everyone will be caroling and trying to figure out what to get for each other around the holidays.

The City of Nampa knows that around the holidays everyone gets busy that's why they have released the details on their Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony already. The event will take place on Saturday, November 24th around 6 p.m. at the Nampa Train Depot and you're encouraged to attend with your family.

The Nampa Christmas Tree Lighting is in conjunction with Shop Small Saturday on November 24th, where you're encouraged to shop locally and support smaller businesses in the area. There will be horse-drawn carriage rides before the tree lighting and even a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus after the tree is lit. Make sure you show up early to get a great view of the tree being lit up. You can find more information on their Facebook event page here.
