5 Reasons Middleton is More Idaho Than Any Other Treasure Valley City
1 || FIRST RESPONDER APPRECIATION. Like Idaho, Middleton does an outstanding job of acknowledging their first responder community. From parades to paying it forward for a first responder's cuppa coffee, M-town takes the cake on this one. And when it comes to honoring our Veterans, Middleton goes to great lengths to express their appreciation for Idahoans who gave some and the ones who gave their all for our nation.
2 || FELLOWSHIP. Even a brief visit to Middleton reveals what a tight-knit community it is. It's the kind of place where you know your neighbor and you're sure glad to at that. Residents keep it real and simple, and we find that refreshing.
3 || THE SUNRISE CAFE. This six-chain locally owned breakfast diner is a stronghold in Middleton, and for good reason, too. For us, the Sunrise Cafe feels like the "Cheers" of breakfast diners. It's the place where everybody knows your name and your order. You can walk in alone and walk out as friends with anyone from a nearby table. It's rare and it's very cool.
4 || MAIN STREET. Middleton's Main Street is like a perfectly preserved time capsule of all that's good and wonderful about Idaho. From locally-owned and family-owned businesses to it's barber shop from another another time, Middleton's Main Street is the envy of many a small town in the Treasure Valley.
5 || PATRIOTISM. The Middleton-Star Fire District 4th of July pancake feed is a living and breathing example of Idaho and American pride. It benefits families impacted by housefires and firefighters injured in the line of duty. This year, we had the distinguished privilege of assisting the firefighters during the fundraiser. From the overwhelming sense of American pride to the fantastic floats and pancakes, every aspect of the experience was beautiful.
We could go on, but you get the picture! Middleton, Idaho, way to be the Treasure Valley's most Idaho city! We'll catch up at the Sunrise Cafe soon!
