Urban Dictionary Says Idaho is a Hoax
Oh that Urban Dictionary. Entering random words just to see what it spits out can be kind of fun if you have nothing better to do at work on a Friday. Have you seen what it says about Idaho?
The Urban Dictionary defines Idaho this way:
One of the best conducted hoaxes in history. Idaho does not exist, nor does anyone "from Idaho" exist. It is suspected Idaho is a black hole.
There are actually tons of definitions, because any Joe Schmo can add his own, and some of them are pretty entertaining.
Like this one:
Idaho has four seasons: winter, freezing, still winter, and road construction.
There are quite a few references to Napoleon Dynamite too, as these random internet users with lots of spare time struggle to define Idaho.
Most commonly known for it's potatoes but anyone who has been to Idaho will know that there are way more cow ranches than potato farms.
Made famous by Napoleon Dynamite... embarrassed by Napoleon dynamite.
How would you define Idaho? How about these:
The land where there's plenty of wide open space, but it always feels like there is somebody in our way.
The place known for have the perfect climate for potato producing, but we'd rather buy spuds in the grocery store than grow them ourselves.
A state talented enough to make syrup, pie, and vodka from the same bucket of fruit. Long live the huckleberry.
The possibilities are endless.
