birthday

I love birthdays. I love other peoples birthdays the most because nothing makes me happier than surprising friends and family and making their day special. Mike hates birthdays. Well, I don't know if he necessarily hates them, but he definitely was hard to plan a fun surprise for because he doesn't think anyone over the age of 12 should celebrate big, unless its their 16th, 18th, or 21st birthday.

As kids, we want more than anything to grow up, but once we grow up we want to go back in time and relive the "good ol' days". A time when we didn't have bills, a job, and real responsibilities to take care of. It's fun though to do things to feel like a kid again...

This is my sweet Piper, who turned 4 yesterday.  Think I'm in trouble? Yes, I agree.  Kids are so easy until they start getting personalities, ornery streaks, thoughts and opinions! Check out what Piper wanted for her birthday this year.  It was an idea that just had to be squashed!

Yesterday was my birthday. I was expecting a low key day. My friends and family though, had other plans in mind.

Well here it is...my birthday, and the reason 9 and 17 are my favorite numbers. Birthdays are good excuses to measure progress and set new goals I think, kind of like New Year's Eve only I'm the only one who's doing it today.  Unless you're a Virgo too, and in that case you're probably making your own thoughtful list, you independent, analytical, reliable, observant, perfectionst, you.  Happy Birt

If you're taking the kids to birthday parties every other day this month it's not surprising. There are more birthdays in September than in any other month.  It has something to do with the um.... festive feelings around the holidays in December it appears.  My birthday is next Wednesday.  Yep! Where does Idaho rank on the list of the best states to have a baby?

Kramer cracks me up with his views on marriage.  Is it really a "man-made" prison and married couples are doing time?  Oh, and do you remember the classic episode where Kramer bought those skinny jeans and his whole world turned upside down?  Tight pants are the worst!

I HATE my birthday!  It doesn't have anything to do with getting older, or having people wish me happy birthday all day.  I hate my birthday because I have the bad luck of not having a mother who pushed harder so that I could be born on April 14th, instead of April 15th.....tax day.  I have always waited to file my tax return until October, taking as many extensions as I could, just so I wouldn't
