So far so good at my house.  The girls are still playing with the FurReal Friends that they got for Christmas.  In other words, I'm still hearing all the awesome cat purrs, dog barks, and panda noises that these things make, and...

I've tripped over them and nearly broken an ankle too.  Good times!  I think these things are the favorite Christmas toy, and the thing that they've played with the most.  The Little Live Pets on the other hand - the birds that record and tweet it back to you that I thought were so awesome - have only made it out of their cage once.

What's been a hit at your house?

The Kids Dance Wii has been big at my house, and the girls and I had a dance-off last Sunday afternoon.  The 6-year old kicked my butt with her moves most of the time, but Mama did win twice!  The 5-year old won twice too, and the 3-year old got high fives for scoring 1900 points and trying real hard.  It was a blast, and I learned that One Direction crushes start even earlier than I thought.

We've made one batch of red velvet cupcakes in the new Easy Bake Oven and those were surprisingly tasty.  We've colored with the new markers and they've completed the Peace Sign Art kits that they got.  Most of the toys have been played with once or twice and I'm sure the girls will keep re-discovering them over the next few weeks.  Please girls?  Mama's got to get her money's worth out of this stuff.

The clothes though were a bad idea!  Nobody wanted shirts or pants.  The cute outfits I bought have all been returned.  But we did love the Cornhusker shirts that my parents brought us from Nebraska.  I guess unique clothes are okay, but the regular ole stuff is uneventful.

Oh!  And Santa fixed that Mickey Mouse toy that I had the girls send back to the North Pole for repairs.  (Click HERE for that blog.)  I think Mama had put the batteries in wrong, and all Santa had to do was put them in right.

Hope you had a great Christmas!  And that it keeps on giving in ways besides just the bills.
