Has the Pumpkin Spice Craze Gone Too Far?

Are you all in on the pumpkin spice craze? Or are you completely over the saturated market of pumpkin spice?

Trader Joe's, for example, has some 70 pumpkin spice products on its shelves this year, from beer and tortilla chips to dish soap and dog food.

Why are we so obsessed with it?? Eliza Cross, author of the cookbook Pumpkin it Up! says, "From an emotional standpoint, pumpkin spice evokes the comfort of a cozy kitchen and good things baking in the oven."

That totally makes sense to me. I enjoy the scent, but I can do without the taste. I'm down for a good pumpkin spice candle, but I'll pass on the pumpkin spice Pringles or Oreos, or Sausage. (Yes, you read that right)
