Singer/songwriter and 4 time Grammy winner Carole King moved to Idaho in 1978. She claims it wasn’t until she moved to a home in the Robie Creek area, outside Boise, that she said she finally felt at peace with her life…now you can own Carole's former home.

Carole sold this home back in 1987 so that she could purchase another home in Stanley.   But now the owner of the former singer’s home has put it up for sale and you can own a piece of Idaho musical history if you have a spare 1.3 million Dollars. Now, your 1.3 million dollars isn't just for the 4790 square foot 4 bedroom, 4 bath home...you also get 70+ acres of prime timber land too.

If her former log home isn't enough and you have another 8 million dollars or so, you could purchase her other home which she currently owns in Stanley and is also up for sale for the low low price of 8 million dollars...but I'm sure if you can bring an all cash offer, you can probably get it for around 8.8 million dollars.

Billboard Magazine claimed that she was the most successful female songwriter of the last half of the 20th century.  King wrote or co-wrote 118 pop hits between 1955 and 1999.

King scored her big break with the album Tapestry, which topped the U.S. album chart for 15 weeks in 1971 and remained on the charts for more than six years.  That album also scored her 4 Grammy awards. King made 25 solo albums that are estimated to have sold more than 75 million records worldwide.  In addition to her Grammy's she has also been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

And now you can own the house she built from lumber harvested off the property and which she lived in from 1978 till she sold it in 1987 …check out the photos and take a virtual tour of the house by clicking on the link below and to see all the details and see the listing and all the details of the home here at justimagineidaho.com.
