First they add extra baggage fees, now they're taking our drinks away? IS THERE NO JUSTICE IN THIS COUNTRY!?

Airlines are doing all they can to take every red cent out of your pocket, and spend as little as possible. This isn't news. However, when they mess with some of America's favorite beverages, people rise up in a fit of anger.

Recently, in an effort to "streamline" (aka be cheap and cut costs) United announced they'd be cutting numerous beverages from their in-flight beverage service:

  • Sprite Zero
  • Jim Beam
  • Courvoisier
  • Tomato Juice

However, only one cut beverage enraged the American public. The tomato juice:

United, surprisingly, heard the complaints and reversed their decision to cut tomato juice from your beverage options.

As far as the other nixed beverages? Not a peep from United on those. So if you're a drinker of Sprite Zero (who actually drinks Sprite Zero?) we're sorry to say you're out of luck. Maybe it's time to put on your big boy or big girl pants and drink a real beverage.
