Changes to Table Rock Thanks to Local Students
The Table Rock fire was 4 months ago but a lot of the hillside is still pretty black. Yesterday a group of about 40 middle and high school students from Riverstone International School planted around 600 sagebrush seedlings all across Table Rock to help change that black back to green!
The school started a program four years ago that takes place twice per year. They put in about 450 hours of volunteer work for the community of Boise.
What a great idea and such a great way for local students to help the community!
