Boise State University asked you to vote for the movie you think should be featured on the upcoming 'Movie on the blue' and the results are in!

Bronco nation has spoken and decided which movie will be played for 'Movie On The Blue'! Can we get a drum roll, please? *****Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse***** is our big winner! The movie will be shown the night of July 24th on the big screen on the blue at 6 pm and it's totally free! Bring the kids, enjoy your time on the blue, and have a nice night out on the town! Hopefully it'll cool down just a smidge between now and then because all this hundred plus degree weather is a bit hot!

The great think about Spider-Man: Spider-Verse winning the vote is that this a movie that both Treasure Valley kids, teens and adults can all enjoy together! It's not TOO kiddish so as to make the parents miserable all night but it's also not too grown up. A nice balance, really. Beyond that, if you're a BSU football fan, you'll have a chance to feel the vibe of being on the blue at Albertson's Stadium for the first time in a long time! Not long after 'Movie on the blue', it'll be time to watch some actual college football as the 2021-2022 season is just around the corner. Isn't it exciting to have THAT kind of normal to look forward to? Go Broncos, and have fun at 'Movie On The Blue'!

20 chilling photos of the empty streets in downtown boise during the 2020 Pandemic

This is what Downtown Boise looked like during the first month of the pandemic back in 2019. A friend of mine took these photos with his son as the streets were empty and locked down to Idaho. This is a dark and quiet time that we'll never forget.
