Congrats to the Boise High School Brave who, after beating Eagle, head to the state tournament!

Incredible news for the Boise High School Brave after an incredibly odd basketball season, who will be heading to the state championships after winning their game against Eagle tonight, 53-39. This of course makes for a tough week for the Eagle Mustangs as they also lost to the Meridian high school warriors just this past Monday night. The score for that game was 42-35.

Heading into this game, the Boise brave were 7th in their division and had lost their last game to Mountain View high school by twenty points. An exciting time certainly and a bit of normalcy in a time that doesn't feel so normal. High school, college and professional sports have all been wildly different in the past year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It's crazy to think that it was almost one year ago that the NBA canceled the 2020 season, which seemed to bed the day the entire world changed.

In a world of masks and political differences, cancellations and nasal testing and all the other things that we've all had to face over the past year, the Boise High School basketball team have persisted and will now get to play in the state championships. This is incredible news, and congratulations boys, you're going to state!
