Iced soy chai tea lattes are one of my FAVORITE drinks. They're most popular in the colder months but I could drink them year round and I do. No diss to Starbucks because my loyalty lies deep there, but there is a real taste difference between that of a chai tea concentrate mixed with some almond milk and an authentic chai tea latte made from real tea bags and spices. Where in the Treasure Valley can I find the best-tasting authentic chia tea latte?

A typical recipe for a real chai tea latte includes black tea bags, sugar, water, milk, and chai spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, and star anise. You can make them at home using online recipes such as this one or you can find a local coffee shop that will whip one up for you which is my personal mission here today. Chai tea lattes are actually pretty basic so you won't have a hard time finding them on the menu at basically every coffee shop.

The Human Bean makes their chai teas with tea and spices served steaming hot or over ice. Lucky Perk, Caffeina Roasting Company, and Lucky M are also known for amazing tasting and authentically made chai tea lattes! Urban Fox offers seasonal pumpkin chai tea lattes as well.

Moral of the story, go local when you're in the mood for a chia tea latte! The taste is that much richer and you'll notice a difference right away. Where do you go for the BEST chai tea latte in town?
