THIS is Boise’s Worst Intersection
Editors Note: This is a rant
The verdict is in. THIS is Boise's worst traffic catastrophe. Let's call it a traffic-astrophe.
Here's a break down.
When turning right from Broadway on to E. Park Center, there is a turn lane.
A TURN LANE. AN ENTIRE LANE FOR YOU TO TURN, AND THEN CONTINUE DRIVING IN!
No, the City of Boise did not forget to put a stop sign. No, there is not a stop light. No, you shouldn't stop.
I enjoy riding my motorcycle, and when you stop, in the middle of the road, without any reason, there is a great chance that someone riding behind me is going to rear end me and probably kill me because they may not anticipate stopping FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON.
I know it may not seem like it now, but I am a relatively mild-mannered person when driving. I generally don't speed, I enjoy the ride and I generally am not in a rush. This isn't the problem.
Not only is this haphazard behavior frustrating, it is dangerous. Do everyone a favor and when the time is right, which, by the way at this turn, it is, get a move on.
