When you think about the beauty of McCall, you probably don't think of income for Idaho Public Schools.  In recent land auctions, that's exactly what happened. 

The Idaho Department of Lands auctioned more than 30 McCall area properties that brought in approximately $12.6 million for endowment funds that benefit public schools as well as the State Hospital South.

The cottage lots at McCall and Northern Idaho's Priest Lake are being sold to net higher proceeds than collecting rent from tenants.  So far, the program has brought in more than $100 million dollars.
