2016 has been the year of reliving the O.J. Simpson murder trial in dramatic television, from The People v. O.J. to O.J.: Made in America. So of course Jimmy Kimmel kicked off the Emmy Awards with an O.J. spoof.
Any Game of Thrones fan has likely known for some time that Seasons 7 and 8 would mark the last for HBO’s adapted saga, though the network itself has expressed optimism for more. Now, HBO bosses dish on the plan to end with Season 8, as well what they’ve discussed with regard to a spinoff.
Whenever Game of Thrones finally gets around to a full Season 6 trailer, fans will undoubtedly agonize over the continued secrecy of Jon Snow’s fate, and HBO isn’t likely to oblige until at least April 24.
