Sun Country Airlines is known for its friendly vibes, affordable fares, and an ever-growing route map. We will all benefit from Boise being added to their destination list.

Where Does Sun Country Fly?

Sun Country is based in Minneapolis and will begin with non-stop flights to MSP. From there, they can connect you to Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. In June, they will add service to Albuquerque, Billings, Missoula, Grand Rapids, Oakland, Syracuse, Washington D.C., and Canadian cities Montreal and Toronto.

Is Sun Country Cheap?

Sun Country Airlines is all about affordable flights, so you can save extra cash to explore your destination. They call themselves a "new breed of low-cost air carrier." They also have Bronco orange planes that look like they belong in Boise.

This afternoon, the first flights went on sale for June 19, 2024. The non-stop flight to Minneapolis/St. Paul costs $79.

More carriers entering the Treasure Valley should bring flight costs down for everyone.

For Boise Airport, the addition of Sun Country Airlines gives the airport a ninth airline that offers domestic, regional, and international flights. The others are Aeromexico, Alaska, American, Delta, Korean, Lufthansa, United, and Virgin.

When does Boise Service Start?

According to the Sun Country website, you can now book flights from Boise to Minneapolis/St. Paul beginning on June 19, 2024. Sun Country will offer flights from Boise to MSP and from MSP to Boise on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
