St. Alphonsus Festival Trees Underway at Boise Centre [PHOTOS]
$22,000! Can you believe that's how much one of the beautiful trees at the St. Alphonsus Festival of Trees grabbed at their annual gala?
Donated by Wells Fargo, the peacock-themed tree included a round-trip private flight from the Jackson Jet Center to Napa, California for four couples, two night stay at the Harvest Inn in St. Helena and private tastings at several of Napa Valley's most exclusive wineries. The donation of $22,000 and the other funds raised through this year's black tie gala will go directly this year's St. Al's beneficiary, the infusion room at their Cancer Care Center.
With the Gala behind us, doors at this year's Festival of Trees are now open and will be through the entire holiday weekend. Stop by the Boise Centre to see a winter wonderland of the beautifully decorated trees (including that $22,000 peacock tree,) wreathes, LEGO characters and home decor!
The organizers have built in fun for the kids too! Santa will be available for photos every day of the festival and IdahoLUG has an interactive LEGO display set-up for the littles to play with. There's also a chance to get hands on with the Idaho Virtual Reality Council's VR display, Balloonies and a visit from your kid's favorite snow sisters!
