Motorcycle Crash in Post Falls Sends Two to Hospital with Serious Injuries

Idaho State Police are investigating a serious motorcycle crash that happened Saturday evening in Post Falls.

Motorcycle Lost Control and Hit Parked Vehicles

The crash occurred at around 5:50 p.m. on April 20, near North Spokane Street and North Encanto Drive. A gray 2024 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited motorcycle was heading southbound when the rider lost control and struck two parked vehicles.

Injuries Reported: No Helmets Were Worn

The motorcycle was carrying two people—a 31-year-old man from Post Falls and a juvenile passenger. Neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Both were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

Road Closure and Emergency Response

The road was closed for more than three hours while first responders cleared the scene and conducted their investigation. It has since reopened.

Responding agencies included the Post Falls Police Department, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, and Kootenai County Fire Rescue.
