The Pumpkin Spice Lattes are flowing, the temperatures are dropping....Fall is coming. Fall here in Idaho is nothing short of magical. If you haven't experienced it, the 'City of Trees' does not disappoint. With its fall foliage, beautiful colors, and endless amount of Fall fun, the Treasure Valley is one of the best places to enjoy the fall season. One of the things we enjoy most here in Idaho during the fall season is going to a good ol' pumpkin patch. Picking out the gourds, enjoying some kettle corn, and getting lost in the corn mazes are MUSTS when the air is crisp.

When it comes to pumpkin patches here in Idaho, there's no shortage. But, when it comes to the best-of-the-best, who takes the cake (pumpkin flavored, of course)? Reader's Digest just released their 'Best Pumpkin Patch in Every State' list, and all I know, is that the competition is stiff.

Here in Idaho, the winner is: The Farmstead corn Maze & Pumpkin Festival. The Farmstead continues to be a staple here in the Treasure Valley, easy to spot from Interstate 84 (Rusty the Very Big Beast usually will make you do a double-take). But Rusty isn't the only attraction, enjoy pig races, hayrides, apple blasters, potato sack slide, pony rides, and so much more. Not to mention their pumpkin patch featuring over 40 varieties of gourds, pumpkins, and Indian Corn, AND, of course, their world-famous 18-acre corn maze that features an amazing design every year (Jimmy Fallon's face made the cut one year).

If you've never taken a trip to Farmstead, let this year be the year. Opening day is only 23 days away (9/21). You won't be disappointed!
