If you can't stop watching Bohemian Rhapsody now that it's out on Blu-Ray, then you need tickets to this musical!

"Alright, that's enough. I can't do it anymore." Like so many of you, hubby and I made going grocery shopping into a date night thanks to the new Albertsons Market Street store in Meridian.  I insisted we take my new car which meant he was at the mercy of whatever music I had playing through Apple Car Play. For the past two weeks, that's been the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack and apparently, he reached his breaking point with it. "My car, my rules," I responded with a smile and pushed play on the Live Aid version of the title track.

If you've been falling in love with Queen's music all over again too, mark your calendars for September 27! That's when We Will Rock You, a musical based off of Queen's biggest hits is coming to CenturyLink Arena. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the story follows revolutionaries Galileo and Scaramouche on a journey to bring back rock music in a world without musical instruments.  Along the way, they get some help from a group of societal outcasts called the Bohemians.

The concept gives me goosebumps because it fits so well with one of my favorite Freddie Mercury lines from last year's blockbuster.  In the film, Freddie tells a music manager that Queen's appeal is that they're four misfits who don't belong together, playing for other misfits and the outcasts right in the back of the room who are pretty sure they don't belong either.  Queen belonged to them.

The musical works in 24 of Queen's most well loved songs including "We Are the Champions," "Radio Gaga," "Somebody to Love," "Don't Stop Me Now" and "Bohemian Rhapsody. It's creator, Ben Elton, worked closely with Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor to work the music into the script that was also loosely inspired by The Matrix.

If you'd like to experience it for yourself, here's what you need to know about We Will Rock You's trip to the Treasure Valley!
