20 million Americans are pulled over every year. 

We over-shot it at 50 million, but give it time, right? In Idaho, even our 80-mile-an-hour speed limit isn't enough to deter a local lead foot. As of 2022, RategGenius estimates a little more than 13 percent of Idaho drivers have speeding tickets on their driving record. 

Yeesh! Sounds like Idaho cops have their hands full...or handcuffs 😳

No one enjoys getting pulled over. 

Let's face it: no one loves seeing those red, white, and blue lights tailing them in traffic. To make matters worse, it always seems to happen on the most stressful days at the most inconvenient times. When you think about it, that's probably why we're speeding in the first place. 

"I need to see your license and registration."

If getting pulled over makes you feel anxious or uncomfortable, you're not alone! The good news is there's a lot Idahoans can do to make the experience much more tolerable.
