Direct Effects of Boise's St. Luke's FirOne Race.
The direct effect aids children and families on their journey to healthier, happier living. In a bold effort to ensure Treasure Valley children have access to safe open-play spaces, St. Luke's has partnered with local schools throughout the region. As you can imagine, the partnership has proved to be a force multiplier for good in a myriad of ways.
Race for Progress.
Race by race, elementary school race tracks are being constructed throughout the Gem State to promote whole-family wellness and intentional living. Uses for the race tracks include physical education classes, school-wide recess walkathons, after school use, and fitness through fun. Additional funds raised by FitOne are also used to purchase and install hydration stations that are intended to replace and remove soda machines in favor of fresh water. Solo or on a team, whether you're walking, skipping, jogging, or running, your participation in St. Luke's FitOne race makes a meaningful difference!
