For many, it was a summer tradition. It's no secret that the Treasure Valley loves their country music. By the way, the lineup brought to Mountain Home every single summer was large enough to bring in folks from FAR BEYOND the Treasure Valley.

It has just been announced today that this festival will be taking a hiatus for the summer of 2019. It has happened in Mountain Home for the past 4 years.

The music festival has traditionally brought in names from the country music scene that are on many people's concert bucket list, such as Dierks Bentley and Eric Church.

Today, the Mountain Home Country Music Festival took to their Facebook Page to say the following:

Thank you to our Mountain Home family!

Thanks for making 2018 a year to remember.

After 4 great years in Idaho, we’ve made the tough decision to go on hiatus for the 2019 edition of the festival. We want to thank each and every one of our fans from Mountain Home and beyond for all the memories we’ve made together!

There's no word what happens after the summer of 2019--so we don't know if bringing back the festival is in the realm of possibility just yet.
