Why Moug Loves the Food and Live Music at Locking Horns Riverside Restaurant

My fiancée and I love to get out on the weekends and explore the area. We decided to take a drive into the mountains, and we stumbled upon Horseshoe Bend, which is such an amazing small community on the river.

We pulled into Locking Horns Riverside Restaurant and were blown away by this cool little hidden gem. Under new ownership, Locking Horns Riverside Restaurant has such a classic vibe but with a modern, fun twist. We ate indoors in their authentic Western dining room, but I was excited to learn they have pet friendly outdoor seating on a gorgeous patio as well.

I had the BEST steak I’ve had in ages with delicious, buttery mashed potatoes, old fashioned chicken noodle soup which is a favorite of mine, brings me back to my childhood.

Then we went outside and had a couple of ice cold beers. We played cornhole right by the river and got to enjoy the beautiful weather. I definitely see us returning, both for a fun date night and with friends.

Day or night this is an amazing spot to hang out, have a cold beer, eat a tender juicy steak and enjoy some time with the people you love. It’s a quick drive to a total getaway.
