2022 is turning out to be a very expensive year. Housing costs are through the roof, college tuition is growing like a weed, and we're not even going to get into gas prices. You get it.

This is exactly why we're so excited about this free money we're about to get! If you've lived in Idaho at least two years, you will too.

Here's the deal. If you've been a full-time resident of Idaho for all of 2020 and 2021, and you filed your income returns both years, you're supposed to be receiving a tax rebate this year!

That's cool and all, but how much can you expect to receive? $75 per taxpayer and dependent, or 12% of their 2020 taxes, whichever turns out to be greater.

Awesome! There's some bonus money coming your way. Here's when you check your mailbox.

Delivery of said tax rebate will be different for all Idahoans, but you can check the status of your rebate right here.

If you're in the giving mood, you can even donate your tax rebate back to the state of Idaho, benefitting either parks and recreation, public schools, or transportation. Your pick. Looking to donate? You can do that here.
