If you have ever thought about a job in law enforcement, today is the day to make it happen. Idaho News spread the details about agencies like the Idaho State Police having a hard time lately recruiting people. They just aren't getting enough qualified applicants.

But today (Tuesday, June 18th) the Idaho Law Enforcement Hiring Expo is taking place in Boise. The Idaho State Police will be in attendance as well as Ada County Sheriffs, the Idaho Department of Corrections and others. They will be looking for troopers, dispatchers, information technology professionals, civilian workers, but the biggest need right now is registered nurses.

Depending on the job the starting rate of pay could be between $31 to $36 an hour.

The job fair is taking place from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. near the Boise Airport at the Wyndham Garden Hotel located at 3300 South Vista Ave. Boise, ID 83705.

The event is free to attend but remember your resume and dress for the part.
