Western Idaho Fair Announces a 4th Huge 2026 Concert and Big Changes For 2027

We’re still around three months from the opening of the Western Idaho fair for 2026, but the excitement is growing as the Grandstand acts are being announced by the organizers. We already know who three of the performers will be from previous announcements and a fourth act was just announced today.

The Western Idaho Fair is also planning big changes for 2027, including extending the dates for the fair.

The Western Idaho Fair Just Announced 4 of the Grandstand Acts For 2026

The Western Idaho Fair will take place from August 21st through the 30th this year in Boise at Expo Idaho. Advanced tickets are on sale for admission, carnival rides, and the concerts, even though we don’t know every artist coming yet.

But that is changing over the next few days as the fair plans to announce the remaining artist this week. The first artist was announced two weeks ago as Brantley Gilbert.

The second artist was announced last Tuesday as Skillet.

The third act was announced Friday morning, and it will be Third Eye Blind.

And the 4th concert will be a combo act with multiple artists. The Art of Rap includes Ice-T and Sir Mix-A-Lot.

Prior to announcing the artists, the fair posts a teaser on social media and has followers guess who they think the next announcement will be. There is still one act to announce and they will be revealed on May 15th.

The fair recently made another big announcement regarding the length of the fair. Beginning in 2027, the fair will take place over three weekends and won't be open on Mondays and Tuesdays and will begin earlier in August.
