The Goo Goo Dolls’ Nampa Show Tonight Has Been Moved Indoors

The smoke in the Treasure Valley this week is among the worst in the entire nation.  The skies look dreary, the air smells awful, and health officials in the state are literally warning the public to stay inside as much as possible--because even those who aren't sensitive to poor air quality can be greatly impacted by the smoke.

What does this mean for activities? Sports clubs and high school / collegiate teams have put their outdoor athletics on pause.

Concerts? Well, turns out there's a pretty big outdoor show going on tonight and people are already talking.

The Goo Goo Dolls are in town on the smokiest day of the year.

To go or not to go? Most people online as of early this morning agreed that going just isn't worth it.

Now, the Ford Idaho Center has made an adjustment that fans are going to LOVE.

Tonight’s show at Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater has been moved INSIDE to the Ford Idaho Center Arena (located right next to the amphitheater), due to poor air quality and our concern for the fans. Satellite images from many different sources are showing just how significant the smoke is from these Oregon and Washington fires but perhaps the most shocking fact? The smoke is expected to reach as far as Florida this week.

Air Quality as of today reached a score above 200 which is categorized as 'very unhealthy', basically meaning that the air is bad for everyone.

The best advice from health professionals? Stay inside if you can, avoid prolonged outdoor activities if they aren't necessary (like runs or sport practices) and keep your home sealed off.
