Boise's Performance Heading Into The 2026 Season

Heading into Boise State's first season in the new Pac-12 conference everyones hopes are feeling extremely high. Coming off of 3 back-to-back Mountain West Conference Championship wins fans are hopeful of a highly successful first Pac-12 season. One thing a successful Pac-12 season can lead to is a spot in the College Football Playoffs and ESPN seems to think Boise has a decent chance at making it.

Earlier this month ESPN said Boise State had an 11% chance of making it to the College Football Playoffs. Depending on how things go this season Boise State actually has a really good chance of making it to the College Football Playoffs and other people are noticing this as well.

Joel Klatt Predicts Boise State Will Make the College Football Playoff

Joel Klatt, the lead college football game analyst for FOX Sports, just mentioned Boise State in a major way. Even though the season hasn't started he made his prediction for the College Football Playoffs. In his College Football Playoff prediction bracket he included Boise State as the 12 seed. This would be huge for Boise State if it ends up being true.

Sadly, he has Boise State losing in the first round of the playoffs in his prediction but hey it's cool to be included.
