Boise Safety Standards

One of the main reasons that people moved to Boise is because of how safe it is. Boise for years was at the top of every list for safest cities in the country. It was one of the biggest draws to our city and one of the reasons so many people felt comfortable living here. Unfortunately, lately there have been crimes happening in Boise that we don’t usually see.

Recent Boise Crimes

Sadly, there have been a couple of crimes this week on the Boise Greenbelt that has made locals nervous. First, there was a homicide, then there was an assault and attempted kidnap. Luckily, arrest have been made for both of these crimes however it has been making people nervous to be on the Greenbelt. Unfortunately, as safe as Boise is, these crimes still happened and the city of Boise is making a note of trying to keep people safe.

City of Boise shares safety tips

With two major crimes happening on the Greenbelt in the span of a week, it is not surprising that the city of Boise has decided to make some changes. First they announced that they would be having more patrol on the Greenbelt so that people would feel safer and hopefully less crime would happen. They also shared safety tips and precautions and what to do in the event of an emergency. We know that Boise residence want nothing more than no crime at all, but unfortunately, this past week is an indicator that that won’t happen.
