They Do It All: Check out Boise Fire Department’s Adorable Rescue

Every now and then, we come across a story, a photo, or a video of something that is just 'so Boise', and there really isn't another way to describe it. If you have been lucky enough to live in this special place for a bit, you totally get what we mean.

A story, and some photos, recently shared by the Boise Fire Department had hearts melting!

Firefighters responded to a 'small' but important rescue-- no blazing flames, no 10-story buildings, just a dash that kept on saying 'meow' ...

Have you ever heard a meow in your dash?? 

When the weather is cold, animals can often try to find warm, sheltered, and safe places to tuck away for a nap.  This kitty chose someones's dash!

The Boise Fire Department released a fun statement about the unique rescue:

Heard of a dash cam? What about a dash cat?
Boise firefighters sprang into action after a curious kitty somehow crawled inside the front dashboard of its owner’s car. Fortunately, crews were able to free the feline from the confined space without injury.

While the story is plenty funny, it's a stark reminder that if you notice (or hear) anything strange about your vehicle in the morning -- especially if it has been parked outdoors--that it may be worth checking to make sure an animal won't be injured when you drive off!
