2 Former Boise State Broncos Will Compete In 2026 Super Bowl

When the NFL playoffs first started a couple of weeks ago there were six Boise State Broncos playing. The Broncos who originally made it were Khalil Shakir, JL Skinner, Ezra Cleveland, Scott Matlock, George Holani, Demarcus Lawrence. After the second to last round of playoffs only JL Skinner, George Holani, and Demarcus Lawrence remained.

Now the last week has passed and only two Boise State Broncos remain, and these two will go to the Super Bowl.

Last weekend, the Seahawks played the Rams and the Broncos played the Patriots. We were hoping that both the Seahawks and the Broncos would win so we would see three former Boise State players in the playoffs, which would have been so cool.

Unfortunately that was not the case but two Boise State Broncos won! Demarcus Lawrence and George Holani with the Seattle Seahawks will be competing in the Super Bowl this year!

George Holani had previously been on Injured Reserve and now he is back!

The Seattle Seahawks will be competing to win a Super Bowl this year against the New England Patriots and Drake "Drake Maye" Maye. If the Seattle Seahawks win this will be the first Super Bowl win for both Demarcus Lawrence and for George Holani which would be huge!

Only a limited number of former Broncos have Super Bowl rings so if the Seawhawks pull this off, then 2 more will be added to the collection.

The Super Bowl will take place February 8 in San Francisco. Good luck to the former Boise State Broncos.
