Have Ski Gear to Sell? This is How You Get it Done

If you have lightly used gear you’re ready to part with, the swap accepts skis, snowboards, nordic and tele gear, boots, clothing, and snowshoes. Some items aren’t accepted, and staff may turn things away if they don’t meet standards. You can register your items online, bring them during drop-off hours, and BBSEF takes it from there.

If your item sells, BBSEF keeps a 25% commission and mails the rest by December 1. For full rules and item look-ups, check the official Ski Swap site.

Why Ski Swaps Are a Great Place to Find Ski Gear

Ski swaps are a great way to score quality gear. Lots of die-hard skiers upgrade to the latest and greatest every season. So you’ll find solid gear priced far below retail. It’s also perfect for beginners who want to invest in their own equipment without paying new-gear prices until they’re sure what they like and how often they’ll go.
