You may have had the fiercest parents of all your friends growing up, but at least your mom and dad never ate you.

When Parenting Gets Rough

Almost anyone who's raised a copy-paste of themselves can attest to the challenges of parenting. Raising kids is a tough gig, but Idaho’s wildest moms and dads take it to a whole new level—by eating their offspring. Yes, you read that right.

Let’s face it: We've all had moments when our kids have pushed us to the brink of insanity. But these Idaho animals have a drastic way of handling things. Unlike us, they can't escape to Target or rely on the babysitter or a iPad to entertain them. Instead, they opt for a literal bite out of their offspring when life gets overwhelming.

No Babysitters in the Wild

Before you judge these savage survivalists, consider their parenting plight. With no daycare or school buses in sight, some of Idaho's wildest parents find the quickest way to a peaceful night’s sleep is a gruesome dinner.

So, the next time you’re stressed out and feeling like the world's worst parent, remind yourself that at least you haven't eaten your children. Not yet, anyway.

Before you judge the filial cannibals in the gallery below, remember:

> they can't escape their homegrown hellions with a therapeutic trip to Target

> there are no babysitters in the wild

> they can't send them off to school five days a week

> and most, if not all of them, were just lonely, h*rny singles looking for a one-night stand who wound up as single parents

Cut 'em some slack, people 🙄
