Idaho Man Featured on ‘The Voice’
There's undeniably a lot of amazingly talented people here in the Gem State. Some have even gone on to be featured on nationally televised competitions. This time, a young man from Coer d'Alene, Idaho is making his mark on the super popular show 'The Voice.'
During last night's episode, Jacob Maxwell, belted out his version of Taylor Swift's 'Delicate,' and got the attention of Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, two of the four coaches featured on the show, one of which is country superstar Blake Shelton.
He eventually chose to be on John Legend's team kicking off his journey to the final round. Not only did the fans in the audience and the coaches love his performance, but according to KTVB, the auditon video which was posted on Youtube has already garnered more than 350,000 views in LESS than 24 hours!
According to KTVB, Maxwell began playing guitar and singing when he was 12 years old and has since played gigs around Coer d'Alene and Hayden, Idaho.
