How Did I Not Know Idaho’s Most Dangerous Prison is in Kuna?

Idaho is home to a lot of things: amazing food, beautiful mountains, incredible parks... and even the most dangerous prison in the Gem State. Idaho Maximum Security Institution is located south of Boise in the town of Kuna and I was "today-years-old" when I learned this. It's actually terrifying to think about but maybe it's because I've seen too many movies where the bad guys escape and wreak havoc on the community.

That's not the case with this supermax secured facility! Before we get a peek inside of the Idaho Maximum Security Institution, let's take a look at its most dangerous residents, all of whom are on death row.
