When you got your Alexa device, your had no idea what you'd actually you'd actually use it for.

We hope your favorite way to use your Echo or Echo Dot is to listen to us while you're doing chores around the house or making dinner but we know you use her for other things.  I depend on Alexa as a timer when my hands are knuckle deep in ingredients while I'm cooking and to tell me what the weather in the Treasure Valley's like for the foreseeable future.

But now? Alexa's becoming even more of a personal assistant! If you were planning to gift your Valentine some sort of gift card for the holiday, Alexa is now able to do that for you! Simply enable the GiftJoy skill and say "Alexa, ask GiftJoy to send a gift card." At that point you can tell her your name, your recipient's name, where you want the eGift Card sent and what type of gift card you want it to be.  GiftJoy partners with 100s of retailers so you can gift everything from coffee from Starbucks to make-up from Sephora to movie tickets from Fandango.

Once your details are locked in, GiftJoy will send you a secure link to confirm the information is correct and enter how you'd like to pay for it.  At that point they'll ship off your gift to your recipient by a text or web link. Easy peasy gift giving without endlessly searching the gift card wall at Albertsons, Winco, Walgreens...well, you get the idea!

The cool part? If you try out the GiftJoy skill during the Valentine's season, you'll get a $10 Amazon gift card for yourself! After you purchase your gift card, write a review of GiftJoy for Amazon or spread the word via the hashtag #GiftJoy. Send your review/info on where you posted it on social media to GiftJoy's e-mail address along with the e-mail address you bought your original gift card with! As a thank you, they'll hook you up with your gift card!

The offer for the free reward starts February 10!
