Disneyland Opening April Could Slow Boise Tourism
There was a time when football players would be asked a question after winning the Superbowl, "What are you gonna do now?" That's when players would say, "I'm going to Disneyworld." That idea came about over dinner back in 1987 (true story,)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Superbowl this year and they asked Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski the say question. The answer was the same but attendance wasn't. The pandemic has kept places like Disneyland closed for over a year and Idaho has seen some of that tourism. That will change in April.
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure announced they will open on April 30, 2021. This is a good time to tell everyone that Idaho is closed and Disneyland is back open. I realize it's on the way, but they have hotels at Disneyland. Just make a week expedition out of it.
I can hear people saying it now, "Well, we've always wanted to take the kids camping babe and everything is so open in Idaho. What about Boise this year?" That's when they arrive, love it, Instagram the beauty, and the rest is history. Well, we're leaving and headed to California, take that!
I'm just kidding we love everybody and there is no place like the happiest on Earth, Disneyland. Things open on April 30, but not without limitations. Disney plans to limit capacity through several online checkpoints by using a new theme park reservation system. I'm sure it similar to an RSVP where you let Disney know who is coming, where you plan to visit and how many will accompany you. This could also be like an in and out system keeping capacity at a certain number. That information to follow very soon regarding this new reservation system.
