Depending on your perspective, Jay-Z's partnership with the NFL and reported interest in team co-ownership either makes him a sell-out or a saving grace. Cardi B recently weighed in on the uproar caused by Hov's alignment with the National Football League and she believes some good will come out of it.

The constantly on the road rapper was interviewed by TMZ on Saturday night (Aug. 17) when she offered her two cents on the subject of Jigga's plan.

"I think that he can make a change, you know what I'm saying?" Bardi said. "I feel like he didn't went on an NFL deal without an agreement. I feel like he went in there like, 'Alright, if you guys want me to work with y'all, y'all need to bring my people in here. Y'all need to do things my way.' I feel like he's gonna change it."

As previously reported, Hov has signed on to become the NFL's live entertainment strategist, despite high tensions that are still present from the Colin Kaepernick situation and the rapper's previous stance against the league. He is also reportedly ready to invest in an NFL team as a co-owner.

"I feel like Jay-Z can bring back Colin Kaepernick," Cardi added.

Not everyone is sold. Jay has been catching heat. Kaepernick's girlfriend, radio personality Nessa, called Jigga out. Carolina Panthers safety Eric Reid also displayed skepticism that Jay was doing something good by dealing with the NFL, even going as far as calling what the rapper is doing despicable.
